This was lit similar to my snow drop with tow flashes. I have been using flash for some years now with two flashes on a bracket at a 45 degree attached to the camera, one with a sync lead and a slave on the other one. I am now using the Nikon macro flash unit that can use up to 8 flash heads. I found the Strobist web site and I have made some snoots with the advice on the site that have proved very useful. I used the snoots for the first time to make this image. I used two of the flash units, one with an orange gel and fitted with a white cardboard snoot, top right hand above and slightly behind the subject, and the second unit placed directly below it with small homemade diffuser from a small Tupperware bowl with a sheet of paper taped into a cone to direct the light.
